It is a 2015 Disney-produced fantasy film based on the folk tale of the same name. And the film is directed by Kenneth Branagh and produced by Simon Kinberg, Allison Shearmur, and David Barron.

Plot

The movie is about Ella, who lives happily with her parents in a kingdom. Unfortunately, her mother dies of serious illness. And after a few years, her father remarries a widowed – Lady Tremaine. So, Tremaine moves into the house with her two extremely obnoxious and rude daughters – Drizella and Anastasia. And the Series of misfortune continues as Ella’s father dies unexpectedly in a foreign truth. Finally, Tremaine now takes over the household and reveals her true colors by dismissing all the household staff.

Moreover, she makes Ella give up her room for her step-sisters and makes her do all the household chores. As the movie rolls out, we see how the prince of the kingdom has invited all the maiden to be present at his ball. However, Tremaine makes sure that Ella isn’t able to attend the ball and thus tears her dress. And the plot moves ahead, and we see how Ella makes it to the ball, bonds with the prince but has to leave in haste. The movie rolls ahead with the prince’s quest of finding Ella, though not without its own challenges. Finally, the film ends on a good note with Ella and Kit, the prince getting married and ruling peacefully over the kingdom.

It is Disney’s yet another musical, adventure, fairy tale movie in 2015. And the film is directed by Kenny Ortega and produced by Tracey Jeffrey and Judy Taylor.

Plot

The movie is about the story of Belle and Beast’s son Ben who is soon to be crowned king of the United States of Auradon. Before his coronation, Ben allows four children – Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos from the Isle of Lost – the slum of the villains to stay in Aurandon and have a chance to improve themselves. And the villains, though accept the offer, direct their children to steal the magic wand of Fairy Godmother, which will break the barrier of the island they live in.

As the plot moves ahead, we see that the four villain children getting mixed with the children of Aurandon and it spikes the good in their heart. They try to steal the magic wand but fail miserably and decide to wait till the coronation ceremony of Ben. The movie shows us the various twists and turns that the characters go through, and we are made to believe that the 4 children have rejected their villainous roots and become a part of the Aurandon tribe.

The climax is very well played out by the characters, with several twists and revelations. The movie leaves us on a suspicious note where we keep wondering if the four of them are actually with the Aurandon tribe or have something else planned out for the future.

FANTASTIC FOUR

The Film, also styled as FANT4STIC, is a superhero fantasy film based on Marvel Comic Book of the same name written by Stan Lee. Josh Trank directs the movie and produced by Matthew Vaughn, Simon Kinberg, and Robert Kulzer.

Plot

The Film is about two childhood friends – Ben Grimm and Reed Richards, who have been working on a teleporter prototype for a long time. Over time, their teleporter gathers the attention of Professor Franklin Storm, who hails from Baxter Foundation Research Institute. Reed joins the institute as a volunteer and helps Professor’s children – Sue and Johnny.

Over time they build a Quantum Gate, and as the research is successful, a team is sent from NASA to a Planet Zero for further studies, but none of them are included. Disappointed, Reed, Ben, Victor, and Johnny devise another way of making it to Planet Zero. The movie rolls out further with various twists and turns and challenges that the characters have to face.

Eventually, the four – Ben, Sue, Johnny, and Reeds have unimaginable superpowers. As the movie rolls out, we see how these four try to make it to Planet Zero not without their share of challenges. With a power-packed action sequence climax, some shocking revelations come up. The movie ends with the four of them being named the Fantastic Four, who vows to work for the benefit of the people.

It is a short animated movie produced by Disney and is a short sequel to the 2013 film – Frozen. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee directs the movie while Petr Del Vecho and Aimee Scribner produces it.

Plot

The Film takes up from where it ended in Frozen (2013). Elsa plans on a big birthday surprise party for Anna. While making arrangements, she takes on board with her – Olaf, Hans, and Kristoff. On her birthday, Anna is set up on a treasure hunt by Elsa, who has caught a cold. Every time she sneezes, Elsa ends up producing little snowmen who somehow disrupt the party preparations. As Elsa’s condition worsens with time, she ends up sneezing more and more snowmen.

They invariantly create problems in the birthday party arrangements, and both Olaf and Kristoff have a hard time taking care of them. As we move ahead with the plot, we see the party being carried out perfectly though Elsa has gotten pretty sick. Anna takes Elsa and makes her lie down under the blanket, and takes care of her. Moreover, Elsa apologizes that she couldn’t give the best party to Anna, but she says that her greatest gift is Elsa. And the movie ends on a comical note where Kristoff and Olaf escort the little snowgies to Elsa’s old snow palace.

THE LITTLE PRINCE

It is an animated, adventure fantasy film based on the 1943 novel of the same name. And Mark Osborne directs it and Aton Soumache, Dimitri Rassam, and Alexis Vonarb produces it.

Plot

The Film is about a daughter who lives in the same neighborhood as an aviator. Moreover, her mother has imposed very strict coaching lessons on her so that she can get admitted to the top acclaimed Werth Academy. One day, the girl sneaks out and visits the aviator, who tells her the little prince’s story. The aviator claims to have the little prince in the deserts of Sahara when he crashed there once. He told the girl that the little prince lives on Asteroid B-612. And she is very fascinated by the story of the little prince, and the aviator continues to say to her more about the adventure of the prince.

The girl comes to know about how the little prince falls in love with a rose.  Moreover, as the movie rolls out, we see that the aviator and the girl have gone out in his car without the knowledge of the girl’s mother. And soon they are pulled over by the police as the aviator doesn’t have a license. And the girl is taken by the police and handed over to her mom, who is extremely disappointed in her. Moreover, she doubles the study pressure on her daughter as a punishment. As the plot moves ahead, we see how the aviator is hospitalized.

Further Explanation

Upon learning the news, the girl sneaks out of her bedroom window and sets out to find the little prince. The film then takes us on the girl’s adventure while she finds the little prince. And we see how the prince is rescued by the girl and is brought in front of the aviator. Finally, the movie ends on a good note where we see that the girl has secured a seat in the Werth Academy, and the aviator and the little prince is heard laughing from Asteroid B-612.

It is a horror, comedy movie based on the folk tale of the same name. And the film is directed by Michael Dougherty and produced by Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Garcia, and Michael Dougherty.

Plot

The family is about the Engel family, which consists of parents – Tom and Sarah Engle, their son, Max, their daughter, Beth, and their grandmother – Omi. Also, Max is a strong believer in Santa Claus and writes a letter to him 3 days before Christmas. Several relatives pour in like Uncle Howard, Aunt Linda, Grandma Dorothy, Cousin Howie Jr., Jordan, Stevie, and Chrissie.

As the family sits down for dinner, Max’s letter is read out by his cousins and they laugh because he still has a belief in Santa. Finally, overcoming with embarrassment and rage, and Max announces that he hates Christmas and his family. And as the film moves ahead, we see the city being in a trance, and an invisible creature is roaming about in the city streets.

As the plot roles out, we get to see how the monster one by one captures the kids. So, the movie from here on shows us the various adventures the kids face and how they nearly manage to escape from the monster. Omi states that the monster is Krampus. And he punishes those kids who have let go of the Christmas spirit and has thrown a fit on that day.

The climax gets the best of us as we realize that the entire experience was Max’s nightmare. However, the movie’s ending keeps us wondering if the experience was at all an experience or have the Engel family has been captured in another world.
